How to maintain ceramic coating
In order for your ceramic coating to last as long as possible, you will need to make sure you look after your car and its paintwork regularly. There are a few steps in regards to maintaining your ceramic coating.
- Do not wash your vehicle in direct sunlight.
- Use a PH-neutral car shampoo
- Wash your car using the two-bucket method
- Use higher-quality supplies and separate them for your wheels and tires.
In addition to these steps, as mentioned, you will need to wash your vehicle on a regular basis. Best practice is to wash your car every 2 weeks utilizing the tips above. This can help prevent the build-up of environmental contaminants such as dust.

How to remove ceramic coating
You can remove a car ceramic coating by using a machine polisher to expose the layer of clear coat underneath. This is the best, and only way to remove a ceramic coating completely and safely.
